Privacy Policy
Effective July 2026 · AirBack is made by Hawkeye Research Inc., Alberta, Canada
The short version: your quit journey stays on your phone. We built AirBack so that we cannot see your data — there are no accounts, no servers, and nothing to sell.
What we collect
Nothing personally identifiable. AirBack has no sign-up, no login, and no server of ours that receives your information.
- Your quit data (usage logs, plan, goals, notes you write) is stored only on your device and in your personal iCloud backup, which Apple encrypts and we cannot access.
- Purchases are processed entirely by Apple. We receive anonymous transaction records (via RevenueCat/StoreKit) so the app knows you're subscribed — never your name, email, or payment details.
- Anonymous usage statistics (which screens are used, crash reports) are collected through privacy-preserving services (TelemetryDeck, Apple's MetricKit) that use anonymized identifiers and cannot link data to you. No advertising identifiers. No tracking across apps. Ever.
What we never do
- No selling or sharing of data with data brokers or advertisers — we hold nothing to sell.
- No ads and no ad SDKs in the app.
- No reading of your health data. If a future version offers HealthKit integration, it will be opt-in, used only for the features you enable, and never used for marketing.
Deleting your data
Settings → Reset all data erases everything from your device. Deleting the app does the same. Because there is no server copy, deletion is immediate and complete — there is nothing for us to delete on our side.
Children
AirBack is intended for people aged 17+ who want to quit nicotine. It is not directed at children.
Changes
